Tarot cards era of aquarius. Tarot cards Age of Aquarius - gallery and interpretation of cards

The Age of Aquarius Tarot is a tarot deck drawn by Russian artist Maria Bolgarchuk. The cards were printed on the oldest Russian issuing firm playing cards - Combine of color printing, St. Petersburg. The Tarot of the Age of Aquarius is one of the few Russian tarot decks that can proudly represent Russia in the international tarot community.

Do not confuse this deck with the Age of Aquarius Tarot. Under this name, as well as under the name "Tarot of the Third Millennium" in the CIS, Rohrig Tarot by Karl Roerich was released (not to be confused with the Roerich family, on whose behalf, by the way, the Tarot deck also came out). The Tarot of the Age of Aquarius is made in modern collage technique and is a completely different deck.

The Age of Aquarius Tarot comes in a transparent plastic box, which is certainly very convenient for storing cards. There are cheaper editions in a cardboard box, but the quality of the cards there is noticeably worse, the cardboard is thinner and quickly deteriorates.

Deck decoration and design - gallery of fairy images

The cards are made in a bright, emotionally rich manner. Each image is surrounded by a wide black border with soft edges to create a windowed effect. In the foreground of the picture, the artist depicted a scroll with the name of the card itself. A gallery of the deck itself can be viewed at aeclectic.com and molottora.ru.

As you can see from the deck gallery, the people depicted on the cards occupy most of the picture. They are dressed in medieval costumes, and the entire design style resembles illustrations for children's fairy tales. This impression is reinforced by saturated colors, among which are striking a large number of violet and purple hues. Pure blue, by the way, is practically not found in the images of the deck.

Back of cards of blue color, depicting Aquarius among the constellations, which is quite consistent with the basic concept of the deck.

The pattern on the shirt is asymmetrical, which can cause inconvenience for beginners in the layout.

The structure of the deck refers to the French school, Arcanum Strength is at number 11, Justice (Justice) - at number 8, however, the Minor Arcana is drawn in accordance with the plots of the Ryder-Waite Tarot. As for the "controversial" Arcana Lovers, here the artist decided to combine the meanings of both schools, leaving a couple in love in Eden from Waite and a cherub with an arrow from the Tarot of Marseilles.

Major Arcana - a combination of interpretations of several schools

This deck is unique in that it combines a lot of symbols used in classic tarot. Major Arcana decks are a mix of Waite, Crowley, Marseille and author's developments:

 • Purely author's developments include the Hierophant, the Wheel of Fortune and Death.
 • The Arcana Magician, Empress and Devil can be called a creative rethinking of Waite's ideas.
 • direct clones of the Coleman-Smith maps are the Chariot, Hermit, Tower, Judgment and Peace, it is enough to quickly compare the galleries of these Arcana.
 • Moderation refers to Crowley's Alchemy.
 • But the Sun was taken from the Marseille Tarot, the children against the background of the wall - this is a classic image of the Arcanum of the French school.

Minor Arcana - features of the meanings and interpretations of the deck

Concerning Lesser Arcana, then the meanings of some of them also differ from the canonical ones. This applies, first of all, to such cards as Two of Pentacles, Five of Pentacles, Three of Wands, Four of Cups, Four of Pentacles, Five of Swords, Five of Dinarii, Eight of Pentacles, Ten of Cups and Ten of Swords.

The deck also contains a blank card, or a blank card. It is used in the layout and its meaning is to indicate the lack of information on any issue.

The most famous layout is the Pyramid of Lovers

Since the images of people take up most of the images on the cards of this deck, she is considered an excellent adviser on matters of relationships. Therefore, one of the most popular layouts on the Tarot of the Age of Aquarius is the "Pyramid of Lovers". This small spread of four cards allows you to make detailed interpretation situations in the relationship of the couple.

The meaning of the positions of the cards of the layout:

 • Characteristics of the questioner, his personality in a relationship.
 • The second card is placed to the left of the first, in the same way characterizes the parterre of the questioner.
 • Analysis of relationships on this moment, placed to the right of the significator.
 • The expected forecast for the future, a kind of top of the pyramid of the layout, is laid out above the questioner's card.

Features of the interpretation of the values of the alignment

When analyzing this alignment, special attention should be paid to the Major Arcana - these are the positions that have more weight and value. You should also take into account the distribution of suits according to the layout - a large advantage of any one suit can characterize the situation accordingly. Conversely, the absence of a particular suit indicates a lack of a certain component in the relationship.

Minor Arcana are also important: they will indicate the nuances of the situation of interest. If not a single Major Arcana has fallen out in the scenario, this may indicate that the cards are not in tune to answer questions, or that the situation that worries a person does not actually carry a significant emotional load and does not require close attention to itself.

Who is this deck for?

Tarot of the Age of Aquarius is perfect for beginners, as well as tarot readers who prefer emotionally rich and colorful decks with plot pictures. The deck can disappoint fans of a particular school of tarot, as it is a mixture of different schools.

Otherwise, it is an excellent choice for both daily layouts and psychological analysis of situations. This deck is easy to understand, but at the same time filled with many symbols that can point out the smallest nuances to experienced tarot readers.

Video: Cards from the Tarot deck of the Age of Aquarius

Tarot cards Age of Aquarius is a whole magical world full of symbolism and mysteries. Such a deck was created in Russia. The famous artist M. Bolgaruk did everything possible to make the cards interesting, bright and colorful.

Tarot Aquarius is a magic deck created in Russia

These are easy to use, both for experienced tarologists and for those people who are just beginning to study this magical science. The symbols of the cards are filled with enormous potential energy, which, if used correctly, can be made a real "pillar" in the world of fortune telling. At least in modern era, the drawn images and acquired some changes, but the meaning remained the same.

Deck design features

All Tarot cards of the Age of Aquarius are a set of fabulous images. The Russian artist did her best to make them bright and unusual in their own way. Each separate card from the set represents individually different magic paintings. Even the design of those indicates this.

The image on each card is framed in a thick black frame that follows the outline of the image. An important feature of the deck design is the absence of sharp corners. Looking at such cards, there is some effect that the depicted images are viewed through the windows.

The deck gallery is almost no different from other varieties of amrahs. Tarot Aquarius is a set of cards with images of people. These take up most of the entire picture. In the foreground, the artist has placed a scroll with the name of the image and the corresponding number.

All illustrations of the deck resemble frames from old fairy tales. People are depicted here in beautiful old costumes, and in the background bright colors flaunt: blue skies, castles, orchards, rocky mountains, etc.

Aquarius is depicted on the back of the cards. This astrological sign flaunts among the rest of the constellations. It will be difficult for novice tarot readers to work with such a deck at first. The back of each card is slightly different from each other. This is characterized by imbalance in the images. But modern versions of the Tarot of the Age of Aquarius may not have such signs.

A high-quality deck is always more similar to the original both in the style of the images themselves and in the color design of the picture. And the cheaper versions of Tarot do not impress the consumer with their colors, detailed drawings and the very material from which they are made. Many of them are even sold in a cardboard box, which in the future will definitely affect their service life.

The magical power of Age of Aquarius cards

The very name of the cards indicates the involvement of the deck in astrology. After all, the Age of Aquarius has just begun, and the entire third millennium will pass under this powerful sign.

Age of Aquarius cards are not an easy set of images. This deck was created with an understanding of the events that happened in the past. It is important that the future also plays one of the main roles in the creation of maps, because there is a whole millennium ahead and hope for “all the best” is indispensable.

Aquarius constellation - concentration of magical power

The constellation of Aquarius itself is a concentration of magical power that makes people be courageous, spiritually developed and honest with each other. In addition to these qualities, a person can develop the ability to connect with the forces of the Universe, developing his intuition.

It is with the help of a deck of cards created by a Russian artist that you can learn to immerse yourself in the minds of the people around you and help them deal with life's troubles. According to experienced magicians, Tarot cards are able to make a person's consciousness the smallest part of the universe. This also applies to the Age of Aquarius deck, which links the flow of information about science, religion and art.

Author's meaning of the cards of the Age of Aquarius

The deck of the Russian artist, although it is distinguished by its interesting design and original style of images, but the numbering and meanings of the cards are based on classical and French primary sources. So, the Tarot of the Age of Aquarius includes 78 cards. Some of these are conventionally divided into minor and major arcana. Also, the deck provides for division into suits. The deck contains:

 • wands;
 • cups;
 • swords;
 • pentacles.

22 cards belong to the senior lasso. These are unusually strong magical images, which are based on the classical Tarot using interpretations of Marseilles.

The hierophant

This image denotes the truth, its search and the ability to achieve what you want. But the flip side is indicative of excessive hope that will lead to disappointment.

Wheel of Fortune

The interpretation of this image speaks of a series of successes and troubles. Experienced tarologists interpret the meaning as follows: "achieving the desired requires a high price." And if the lasso is upside down, then you should listen to the inner voice.

Death

This is the end of some events that will bring problems to a person. But this is not related to a state of health or death, in the direct sense of the word. And an inverted card indicates that new prospects may open up in front of a person that will lead him to success or well-being.

Magician

An image denoting a high intellectual ability of a person, as well as abuse of abilities. The downside is that achieving a goal depends on your own strength.

The empress

This symbol is interpreted as success in love, which will lead to marriage with the birth of the first child. The downside is chores and not lasting well-being.

Devil

This image indicates bad character traits of a person. This is often associated with greed and cowardice. Inverted card - dependence on one's superiority over others.

All author's developments have brought new bright colors to the understanding of magical power classic tarot... The creation of the deck of the Age of Aquarius is a successful attempt by the author, interpreted in modern times, to find a way to connect with the Higher powers.

The meaning of cards, other schools of Tarot and an explanation of the minor arcana

The Tarot of the Age of Aquarius, the meaning of cards which is partially taken from other schools of this magical science, is considered one of the most popular modern attributes for divination. It is easy to see the similarity of some of the major arcana of the Russian deck with the works of Waite, Coleman-Smith, and the French Tarot.

So, the most powerful characters, who are the main cards in any scenario, are interpreted in the same words as foreign counterparts. A kind of "clones" are:

 • Chariot.
 • Hermit.
 • Tower.
 • The sun.

The chariot, as in the Coleman-Smith deck, denotes the search for oneself in this World and full responsibility for one's actions. And also in an inverted state, a person expects a failure in his affairs and failure through his own fault. Other senior arcana also belong to the same school. Thus, the hermit is interpreted by magicians as wisdom and inner balance, which can lead to loneliness.

An inverted card is a sign of self-doubt, which will lead to the destruction of plans. The tower is a symbol of ruin. This can be due to both negative consequences and those that previously brought success to a person. An inverted tower is a sign of a person's lack of confidence in their actions and a desire to receive help from others.

Judgment and Peace, consider the most strong cards, which indicate that a person is ahead of him with success, good health and a stable financial condition. And "Peace" is also complemented by peace of mind. Even upside down, this card bodes well for nothing. It's just that a person is destined to wait some time so that all unpleasant moments disappear and the situation improves.

Minor arcana are often compared with foreign counterparts. But these have almost nothing to do with the old schools. All the differences can be noticed by studying the description of the meaning of the cards, as: ten and five of swords; two, four, five and eight of pentacles; four cups, etc.

The Tarot of the Age of Aquarius contains a blank card that has an interesting meaning. So, this form without an image is explained by magicians, as a person's ignorance of some issue, even important for his existence.

Popular layouts

With the help of the Tarot deck of the Age of Aquarius, you can carry out a large number of varieties of layouts. Often these are associated with:

 • prediction;
 • the desire to receive an answer to a question of concern to a person;
 • the desire to avoid any consequences from perfect deeds in the future.

Lovers' pyramid

But the most popular among masters is the layout - the Pyramid of Lovers. Representatives of Russian tarology argue that the success of this option for solving love affairs is associated with the images on the cards. So, on all 78 windows, people are depicted. Who, if not such characters, are the best advisors in Amorous matters.

The third card in the layout gives a characteristic of real relationships.

The layout itself is pretty simple. In total, 4 cards are laid out from the deck in the form of a pyramid. Each of these has its own purpose. Usually, the cards are laid out alternately, starting from the bottom of the figure and ending with its top. The meaning of these is determined by:

 1. The first card is the essence of a person and his desire to achieve something in love.
 2. The second is the characteristic of the beloved object.
 3. The third is a characteristic of relationships in the present tense.
 4. The fourth is predicting the future.

Predestination of the Future

Another popular layout is Destiny. It is as simple as a love pyramid. This method of fortune-telling is often used to solve the personal problems of people who regret their actions in the past. It is “Predestination” that acts as a mentor in fortune-telling. The alignment itself indicates weaknesses character of a person and teaches him not to make more similar mistakes in the future.

The predetermination is a rectangular layout. The cards are arranged in 4 rows of 3 pieces each. Some of the combinations speak of old adversities and problems. So, the first row denotes the prediction of the near future.

The next two are events that can happen with your own efforts. And the remaining maps are a forecast for the distant future, except for the final two images. These are the personification of the counselor for solving personal problems. It is the final 2 cards that indicate what and how a person needs to do in order to change the future.

The Age of Aquarius cards are a powerful magical accessory that can be used as experienced magicians, and just for amateurs.

Knowing the varieties and meaning of layouts, Tarot can help solve your own problems or become a good advisor in everyday life.

Values according to Ryder White:

ASTROLOGICAL VALUE: Sun in Capricorn, representing a sense of responsibility, order, structure, as well as security, consistency and perseverance.

MASTER.
The owner is a structural element and symbolizes our pursuit of stability, security and consistency. This is our desire for independence from the conditions of existence of Nature and our own nature, which are often unpredictable. Thus, it is in line with our desire for civilization, thanks to which we build our homes, provide heating and air conditioning to protect ourselves from heat, cold and dampness, we create cars and airplanes to shorten distances and make travel more comfortable, and we open schools to improve the level of education. Even the fact that much is being done too persistently does not negate those positive sidespossessed by this often allergic card. The owner combines in himself not only the desire for order, a sober mind, discipline, a sense of responsibility and pragmatism, but also their extremes - obstinacy, inertia, the desire to "improve" everything to infinity, the thirst for power and despotism.

4 - EMPEROR
Aries
The fourth card of the ELDER ARCANES is called the EMPEROR and is associated with the Great Deity, who was worshiped by the Pythagoreans in the form of a tetrad. Symbols indicate that the EMPEROR is a demiurge, a great King Lower World... The EMPEROR is dressed in armor, and his throne is a throne of stone, on which a phoenix is clearly visible. The KING sits with crossed legs (the symbol of sulfur is the sign of the ancient alchemical monarch) and holds either a scepter with a ball at the end, or a scepter in right handand the ball is on the left. The ball is evidence that he is the main ruler of the world. On the chest of the EMPEROR are depicted the sun and the moon (symbolic eyes of the Supreme Deity). The EMPEROR of "spirit" is what happens "here and now", this is strength and judgment - this is the determination of a person to go out into outer space, like thatto dare to jump into the abyss. The EMPEROR says, "I will be what I will be." He sits on a cube stone and holds the power of the world, and the two obedient lambs depicted on his throne symbolize humility before what they see. In his right hand the EMPEROR holds a rod with the head of a lamb, which indicates that he rules this world correctly, without making mistakes that could lead to his death. As a lamb, renouncing his lower "I", he comprehends the higher "I" and thereby wins the right to take an active position in outside world... Corresponding to the astrological sign of Aries, the EMPEROR embodies the principle of free will. The moral categories that support the EMPEROR are "sight" and "blindness". "Sight" helps him to clearly see the world and the consequences of his actions, but this picture can also terrify him. When a person is sighted, it is difficult for him to decide on actions, and when he does not see, he can make mistakes that later will affect not only him, but also the general fate: after all, he is an EMPEROR. "Blindness" allows him not to notice the Flaws and sufferings of the world caused by the anarchic manifestations of our subjective "I", and not to give up his free will for the sake of future progress. This card also includes "speech", and the spirit teaches a person to attach meaning to each word and to treat them with care, because words are one of the means by which a person creates reality.
Crowley's cards show the emperor's coat of arms with kissing doves in the background. the rising sun, the symbol of the Holy Spirit and that unselfish love that sends him. But two lambs next to the EMPEROR are depicted alive: after all, they are two lambs, given to the slaughter of Destiny, and when love binds two people, because of the mistakes of one, the other may suffer.

IN upright position the EMPEROR card speaks of willpower, means the consistency of actions, the achievement of the goal, the correctness of the chosen path. It can symbolize success (in public affairs, at work, at home), fatherhood, and in some cases - security, stabilization of the situation, legal income. The card can personify mature people with a stable position in society, with the power of persuasion, the ability to influence people. It means authority, self-control - "strong personality", in which reason clearly prevails over emotions and passions. It can also say that you are in search of wisdom, (or you should do it) ... In addition, this position can symbolize civil power, perspective.

In an inverted position, the EMPEROR card symbolizes the denial of authority, unwillingness to take part in the lives of other people (which is also sometimes true), failure to fulfill one's duties - (in particular, father's),
ignoring everything legal, orderly, courteous, inability to curb their shortcomings and vices. Sometimes it is a clear dependence on strong, authoritative people. This position of the card can also signal that there is someone in your life who has completely subordinated you to himself. You don't have enough energy to even solve minor problems, and you are unable to control the most trifling emotions.
This position can warn you about failures at work, about the presence of forces that inhibit the development of affairs. In general, the card also says that a person needs to show wisdom. It can also indicate an excess of such a quality as arrogance.

"The fulfillment of your hopes depends on the" powerful "person, rather than on yourself. Try to find out who he is, make contact with him, and you will receive support from him."
